Out and About... there's plenty of events to choose from in the 145th District  


The month of August has been a fun one and the next few weeks are jam packed with events! 

The Lewiston Art Festival is back for its 56th year!  On Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 14 form 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this prestigious event will showcase the work of more than 160 professional and student artists representing eight states and Canada.  

On Saturday, August 13th the Community Health Center of Niagara located at 2715 Highland Avenue - Niagara Falls, NY  will host "Chemistry for STRONG Communities Awareness Day".  The event is be held from Noon - 3:00PM and will include a Parade - DJ Bicycle Rodeo - Food & Games.

On Sunday, August 14th St. Sarkis Armenian Church will host it's annual picnic which is held at 300 9th St. Niagara Falls, NY.  The picnic is from Noon - 5pm and they'll be serving up all your favorites shish kababs, pilaf, bean salad, dolma & baked goods. 

Also on Sunday, August 14th is the Wheatfield Picnic at Fairmont Park, located at the corner of Nash Road and Stieg Road. The picnic runs from Noon - 5pm and there will be free family fun activities along with reasonably priced food vendors.
